Granny Square Free Pattern in Blue And white colour

Here’s the pattern for that blue and white granny square you showed me.
This is a classic 4-round granny square. I'll write it in US terms.

Materials used in your photo
Worsted weight yarn: Blue + White
Hook: Likely 5.0mm / H-8, but use what matches your yarn
Finished size: ∼5" across

Pattern

Start: With blue, make a magic ring OR ch 4 and sl st to form a ring.

Round 1 - Blue
Ch 3 (counts as dc), 11 dc into ring. Sl st to top of starting ch-3 to join. Fasten off. [12 dc total]

Round 2 - White
Join white in any space between dc. Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same space, ch 1.
3 dc in next space between dc, ch 1 repeat from * around.
Sl st to top of starting ch-3. Fasten off. [4 clusters of 3 dc, 4 ch-1 spaces]

Round 3 - Blue
Join blue in any ch-1 space. Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same space, ch 1.
In next ch-1 space: (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, ch 1). That makes your first corner.
In next ch-1 space: 3 dc, ch 1.
In next ch-1 space: (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, ch 1). Second corner.
Repeat side, corner, side, corner.
Sl st to top of starting ch-3. Fasten off.

Round 4 - White
Join white in any ch-1 side space. Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same space, ch 1.
3 dc in next side space, ch 1.
In corner ch-2 space: (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, ch 1).
3 dc in each side space with ch 1 between, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, ch 1) in corner repeat around.
Sl st to top of starting ch-3. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Key tips:
Ch-1 spaces between clusters give it that classic granny square look with the little holes.
Ch-2 in corners makes them turn sharp and lay flat.
If your square cups or ruffles, go up a hook size. If it’s too loose, go down.
